Microsoft in talks to acquire 49% stake worth $10 billion in Chat GPT
Chat GPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained transformer) is an artificial intelligence-based software that has been making a lot of noise in recent weeks. Open Ai is currently raising funds at a $29 billion valuation. Its founders include Sam Altman and Elon Musk.
Blue-chip NFT project Moonbirds signs with Hollywood talent agents UTA.
Proof Co-Founder Kevin Rose signed with UTA, a world famous talent agency to focus on partnerships that extend Moonbirds far beyond the existing Web3 brand. UTA has 1,400 employees that dedicate themselves in film, television, music, video games, sports, books, branding, licensing, speaking, marketing, fine arts & broadcasting. They will work on behalf of Moonbirds to help vet, broker & execute partnerships & expansion opportunities across a variety of fields.
Superbowl to be made into the “biggest NFT free mint ever”
Gabriel Leydon, CEO of Limit Break & Digidaigaku announced that America's biggest televised cultural event will be turned into the biggest free NFT mint ever on February 12th. The mint appears to be for the Digidaigaku Dragons. Reports suggest there will be a supply of 10K with over 100m tuning in. Did you Know Last year Coinbase had 20M people visit their site in the 1st minute!

Yuga Labs the creative studio behind Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) has announced its highly anticipated mint for next week 18/01. The gamified expansion of the BAYC ecosystem involves minting a free Sewer Pass to play a game called Dookey Dash. It's clear that this new NFT mint, which began with a silly and NSFW animated video on Dec. 21 called "The Trial of Jimmy the Monkey," is part of Yuga's broader plans to develop an interoperable metaverse experience called The Otherside. The platform will allow players to own land and turn their existing NFTs into playable characters.

Friendship Bracelets hit new highs
Friendship bracelets which was a free mint for Artblock holders and collection has been going from strength to strength. The supply has risen to 38.4K with a floor price currently sitting at 0.62ETH , $870 USD. Art Blocks has without doubt established itself as the preeminent platform for generative art within the NFT landscape.
Bright moments announces their highly anticipated Tokyo collection

Anna Lucia is making a lot of noise at present with her inspiring generative art collections. Anna, who is based in Cairo has collections on artblocks (Loom series), and recently featured in brighmoments CDMX with Glaciations. One to go check out and keep an eye on for the future.
